Aims and Objectives

The main objectives of inventory control are to:

• Optimize the level of customer service to internal and external clients. To achieve this, the laboratory needs to have a supply of all the required supplies and reagents at the right time in the needed quantities.
• Keep at a minimum the cost of providing the service that the laboratories’ customers require.
